Go Blazers!

Of course I always post the pictures in reverse order, so bare with me. The cheerleaders at my school held a "Baby Blazers" cheer camp for kids from the local elementary schools. They spent a Saturday afternoon learning a chant, a cheer and a dance to be performed at half time of a varsity basketball game. Both Lauren and Matthew were excited to participate and even though Matthew was the only boy, he shook his groove thing better than most of the girls. Above is a shot of all of the kids who participated.

Lauren and her friend Katie were the hit of the camp!

Matthew held his own and got special attention because he was the only boy!

This may be the last year that Matthew goes up... next year he has to learn how to do the lifting.
Lauren is still the lightest and goes up with ease. She loves doing the stunts and always goes back for more.

The basket toss dismount is better than any Disneyland ride and the cheerleaders love that catching her is like catching a pillow.

Matthew learning a dance move or two.

Yes, I am dancing... maybe not with the beat, but I'm cute so it doesn't matter!

Devyn not only is a super cute cheerleader, but she is "Z" BEST babysitter ever!!!

Christmas 2010

What I want for Christmas... "weather that is less than 60 degress so I can wear the cool hat, scarf and gloves that Nana bought me!"

Lauren likes to take her time and open her presents with style and grace. What you don't see off to the left, is Matthew's pile of paper and boxes.

I love my Christmas pj's... thanks Nana!

Lauren got a really cool art book that shows your drawings in 3D. Kyle, Quinn, Matthew and Lauren all drew together.

Aunt Cristy bought me this FABULOUS Barbi make-up kit.

Family Feud Wii... oh, it's on!

Merry Christmas!

Grandma and her favorite gang!

We had the best Christmas. Thank you everyone!

Is Santa coming for sure?!?!?

A night out with the family.

We were invited to Opportunity Village this year with Larry's sister and her family. We had a great time and got to see so many beautiful lights!

It's not even cold yet... I just wanted to wear my hat!

We love that our cousins still like to hang out with us. Next year they are going to be in high school and may not think we are so cute. Savor the moment!

Thank you to all of our friends and family who helped us celebrate this season.

Halloween Fun

Halloween was so much fun this year. Not only did Matthew hit the candy jackpot... but Anthony, Leah, Kate and our newest cousin, Ella, came to stay!

Matthew and Ella sharing some cousin love! She is such a sweet girl and Matthew really knew how to take care of her!

Just because we have 2 cute girl cousins, we can't forget about our existing, cute boy cousins. No, that's not a grown man... it's Quinn!

Matthew and Lauren dressed to impress.

I suppose I had this one coming... "Say Yes to the Dress" is our favorite show!

Uncle Larry is the best. No, Lauren isn't holding up the "loser" sign, she's just saying that her dad is #1!

My sweet girls!

Lauren and Kate on the Boulder City train.

Aunt Jenn and Baby Ella enjoying the view from the train.

Two peas on the trampoline pod.

We had the best time ever... please come back again soon!!!

End of Summer

Matthew got a little restless sitting at home this summer so we decided to send him on his first airplane trip by himself. He headed up to WA to stay with Anthony and Leah in Seattle, Nana and Papa at the lake, and even ventured up to Vancouver BC to stay with his Tia. He barely looked back as the flight attendant took him down the jetway... "See ya, mom!"

He was able to do and see a ton of cool things while staying with his Tia. One being the Lynn Valley suspension bridge! What fun...

Yeah, that's right... I crossed that bridge!

First day of 3rd grade!

Matthew

Matthew participated in a school play this year called, Honk Jr. He was the Farmer and did a great job. He sang, danced and hopes to get another role next year.

Matthew also played spring baseball for the first time. He was placed on the NY Yankees team and had a really great season. He likes to play third and second base and hopes to play fall ball as well.
